The DC CAPS Employer Network works to educate and mobilize the business community to combat the problem of workplace substance abuse, and promote effective drug-free workplace policies drug testing programs.

Drug Screens: Truth, Myths, and Lies

Have you ever had to confront someone who failed a drug screen and said "I was in the room but I didn't smoke it!" or "It must have been the poppy seed muffin?"

DC CAPS Employer Network is excited and honored to have Grant Beardsley, MS, Manager of Drug Testing Services at Oregon Medical Laboratories and James Daskalos, DO, Certified Medical Review Officer at Occupational Medicine speak at the August 22nd Employer Network Roundtable.

In this informative session, you will find out how to squash these arguments and learn how the body metabolizes substances. Also you will learn about the different panels of drug testing, understand the results and learn the role of the MRO. Have you ever had someone try to beat a test? Find out what testing labs do to identify the cheaters with adulterant testing.
